Diarist & Wordpress
Diarist is a XMLRPC/MetaWeblog API-compatable client for blog posting from your PocketPC.
I tried Diarist last night and found one problem. so i went to the author's blog and sent some feedback:
One thing I noticed: when posting to my Wordpress blog my timezone (GMT -6 central us time) was not taken into account.. result is my post is "scheduled" to be published 6 hours later.
In like 10 minutes Kevin emailed me back the explanation: evidently some blog engines (like Wordpress and Community Server) treat the time of the post as local time rather than UTC.
I thought wordpress knew that all dates were in UTC…
I woke up this morning with an email from Kevin saying It's updated and fixed. He added an hours offset field in the Extra tab. I can adjust that to my timezone.
Diarist is fast and so is Kevin. Nice.

I'm trying to use Diarist with Wordpress too.
What path did you need to enter for the API URL?

the file name is xmlrpc.php, so append that to your blog url. it was http://mhinze.com/xmlrpc.php for me.
